All of our plushies are machine washable please follow the directions and tips below for the best results.
Spot Cleaning
Use a wet cloth and Gentle detergent to gently remove the spots that need to be cleaned.
Spot check the detergent on the plush before doing further cleaning to make sure the color does not fade.
Machine Washing
Place plush in a soft bag or pillow case. Close the bag with string or a shoelace.
Do not wash with other items in washing machine. Place bag in washing machine alone.
Choose Gentle Cycle with a cold wash or rinse.
Use mild detergent.
If possible use a front loading washing machine or agitatorless washing machine to avoid possible damage to the plush.
Other Washing Methods
Wash plushie with mild detergent in a wash tub in the sink, shower or tub. Use cold water with a wet cloth to remove surface dirt and stains.
Always spot check the detergent on the plush to make sure it wont fade the color.
Smooth the plushie’s fabric after washing and during drying so fabric looks smooth and not disheveled.
Machine Drying
Leave the clean plushie in the bag and use a gentle, short cycle with a low temperature setting.
Check the plushie occasionally.
Do not place them in a dryer for an extended time; a couple of short cycles can dry them sufficiently for air drying.
Other Drying Methods
Dry them on a clothesline. This can freshen them and reduces the chance of mold or mildew.
Smooth the plushie’s fabric after washing and during drying so fabric looks smooth and not disheveled.
Place them next to a dehumidifier or fan for a few days to make the air drying process faster.
Use a hair dryer on a non-heat setting; it works lovely for a quick dry.
